夏休みの時期や長さ、内容などは国によって様々です。
今日はいくつか紹介したいと思います♪

世界的に９月から新学期が始まる国が多いです。日本も国際社会を考えて、９月スタートとする学校も大学などでは徐々に増えてきていますね。

夏休みの長さもわりと長く、社会人でもまとまって休暇をとれるシステムがヨーロッパでは特に充実しており、家族で長期間のバカンスを楽しんだりする人も多いです。
ドイツなどでは、州によって夏休みの時期をずらしています。渋滞や混雑を避けるためです。

９月から新学期のため、宿題もなしか少しの国が多いです。
普段はできない経験をするための時間、家族との絆を深める時間、新しいことにチャレンジするための時間に当てるという考え方です。
子どもたちは、宿題がないから遊んでばかりということではなく、自分で課題を設定して自ら学ぶことが当然という考え方です。
子どもの「自立」「自律」というものに対して、色々と考えさせられますね。

In many countries, the new semester starts in September. Considering the international community in Japan, the number of schools starting in September is gradually increasing, especially as for universities.

The length of summer vacation is relatively long, and the system that allows working people to take a vacation together is particularly well-developed in Europe, and many people enjoy long vacations with their families.
In Germany etc., the time of summer vacation is staggered depending on the state. This is to avoid traffic jams and congestion! (Nice idea!)

As September is the new semester, there are many countries with little homework.
The idea is to devote time to experiences that kids can't usually do, to deepen ties with your family, and to try new things.
The idea is that children don't just play because they do not have homework, but that it is natural for them to set their own tasks and learn by themselves.
It makes me think about the "independence" and "autonomy" of children in various ways. We have to think about it by seeing all over the world.
