クライストチャーチの地震被害の報道に関し、「バルモラル校は、影響を受けていないか」という、心配の声がありました。
　このほど、本校Ｏ先生に、マシュー先生からメールがありました。一部を掲載します。

Yes, the earthquake in Christchurch is terrible news!
The damage to Christchurch is quite bad.
Many people have died and lots are still missing.
Luckily for us there is no damage in Auckland and the North Island at all.
It is very sad news that there are Japanese people still missing but I hope they will be found soon.

「幸いなことにオークランドのある北島には、何の影響もなく、クライストチャーチで行方不明になっている日本の方々が一刻も早く救出されることを願っています」
と言う趣旨です。
