"Ulcer"とは本来「がん」などの「潰瘍」を意味する単語です。
「魂の中のがん」と訳しても良いでしょう。（個人的にはこちらの方がより的確な意味になるかもと思います。）


自分自身が誰かを、何かをねたんでいることに気づいていない人も多いと思います。
昨日の記事でも書きましたが、気づかず魂が腐敗する前に、自分自身を見つめることがやはり必要ですね♪

言葉は時に、人を傷つけたり、命を奪ってしまうほど強大な負の力をもちます。
恐ろしい力です。

ですが反対に、人を癒やしたり、勇気づけたり、元気づけたり、心を救ったり、人生を成功へ導く強大な正の力ももっています。
すばらしい力です。

武器も言葉も、使い方次第なのです。そしてそれは使う人次第ということです。

毎日、自分を見つめ直したり、振り返ったりしていないと、人は気づかないうちに器が小さくなり、心がねじれゆがんでいきます。
私が忙しくても毎日していることは、自分がまっすぐかどうか自分に問うことです。
勉強よりも仕事よりもとても大切なことだと思います。
心に余裕がない時ほど必要なことです。自分の行動や人に対する態度は正しいのか？
自分を見つめる時間をとりましょう。

皆さんも、そんな言葉をぜひたくさん探して、自分の中に取り入れてみてはどうでしょうか♪

Weapons and words depend on how we use them. It means that it depends on the person who uses it.

What I do every day, even when I'm busy, is to ask myself if my mind is in the correct way.
I think it's more important than work and study.

授業はアナログとデジタルを効率的に利用しています。
デジタルについては、デジタル教科書やクロームブック、iPadなどを使うことが多いですが、特に今色々と試しているのがクロームブックです。
使えるものは限られていますが、使い方の可能性がかなり広いので、私も日々勉強です。
子どもたちが意欲的に学ぶことができ、効果的・効率的な指導ができるように頑張っていきたいと思います。

現在の日本は、ネットの書き込みなどを見ていてもそうですが、批判社会というか、批判しかしない人が多いように感じることもあります。中にはいきすぎて「誹謗中傷」といった内容まで平気で書き込んだり、言ってしまったりということもありますね。
大人の姿を見て、子どもは成長することを、我々大人は常に意識して行動していかないといけないなと思います。

言語は時代と共に変化をしています。
日本語も例外ではありません。

面白いことに、今の「ハヒフヘホ」の発音は昔はありませんでした。
奈良時代では発音は「パピプペポ」だったのです！
平安時代では発音は「ファフィフフェフォ」だったのです！

つまり、現代日本語の「母（はは）」は奈良時代では「パパ」と発音するということですね。
ややこしいですね。笑
これはひらがなの成り立ちに関係があります。
「は」は「波」という漢字からできました。古代中国語音では「ぱぁ」なので・・・。

奈良時代にタイムトラベルする際は、ご注意ください♪

Languages has been changing with the times.
Japanese is no exception, of course ;)

Interestingly, the current pronunciation of "Ha Hi Hu He Ho" did not exist in the past!
In the Nara period, the pronunciation was like "Pa Pi Pu Pe Po".
In the Heian period, the pronunciation was like "Fa Fi Fu Fe Fo".

For example, the modern Japanese word "mother(Haha in Japanese)" was pronounced "Daddy(Papa in Japanese)" in the Nara period x)
It's complicated, isn't it? :)
This has something to do with the origin of hiragana.
"は" is made up of the Chinese character "波". Also it's pronounced like "paa" in ancient Chinese sounds.

Please be careful when you do time travel to the Nara period :p

普段会話で使う言葉と、学習に出てくる言葉にはかなり違いがあります。
日本人でも、例えば「けいべつ（軽蔑）する」という意味は分かっても、「べつじょ（蔑如）する」という意味が分からなかったりもします。（同様の意味です）
日本語にはほとんど同じ意味でもまったく違う言葉がたくさんあります。

「長さ」は分かるけど、「距離」が分からない子もいるでしょうし、「道のり」という言葉は算数でしかほとんど使わない気がします。
そういう言葉を一つ一つ個別にていねいに教えてあげることができるのも、日本語教室の魅力の一つではないかなと思います♪

また、「巻き尺」という名前やその道具の使い方などもていねいに教えることができます。
子どもは楽しそうに活動しながら、算数と日本語を両方同時に学んでいました♪


There is a considerable difference between the words we usually use in conversation and the words you study in learning.
Even Japanese people, for example, may understand the meaning of "Keibetsu-suru" but not the meaning of "Betsujo-suru". (Almost same meaning)
There are many words in Japanese that have almost the same meaning but are completely different.

Some students may know the word "Nagasa" but not "Kyori", and I feel that the word "Michinori" is rarely used.(Only in math, arithmetic)
I think that being able to teach such words individually and carefully is one of the attractions of the Japanese language class.

I can also carefully teach the name "tape measure" and how to use the tool.
the student was learning both math and Japanese at the same time while having fun :)

幸い、本校の日本語教室（国際教室）はとても大きな教室なので、十分な距離をとることができます。（１学期よりもさらに距離をあけました）
常時換気をし、事前事後の消毒も入室者全員に行うなど、十分に気をつけて運営していきます。

ワクチン接種が２回済んだという方もいらっしゃると思いますが、ここでもう一度原点に戻って、「手洗い」の大切さに注目してほしいと思います。
手指消毒も大切ですが、「正しくていねいな手洗い」をこまめに行うことがやはり重要です。
色々な意味で、今一度初心にかえってみるとよいのかなと思います♪
２学期、元気な子どもたちに会えることをとても楽しみにしています♪

世界には数多くの言語（7139言語 by Ethnologue)がありますが、中には不思議で面白い言語も存在します♪

「ソルレソル」（ソレソです）という言語は文字の代わりに「ド・レ・ミ・ファ・ソ・ラ・シ」の音の高さを組み合わせて単語や文字列を構成しています。つくった人はフランスの作曲家です。
絶対音感がないと理解できないということになりますね。笑
あっても理解ができませんが・・・。難しい！！

You can learn a lot about the countries of the world and the schools of the world.

先日、オーストリアのザルツブルクの友人からザルツブルク音楽祭の招待がきました。残念ながら断らなければいけませんでしたが、コロナが落ち着いたらまた行きたいものです♪（モーツァルトの出身地です！）

以前、ザルツブルクのホテルのピアノを弾いていたら、お客さんが集まりだし、最終的にホテルの方が部屋のアップグレードとレストランでのワイン無料券をくれました。衝撃的な思い出です♪（お酒は飲めないのでアップルジュースに変えてもらいました。笑）
そのとき弾いたのは「もののけ姫」や「アナ雪」などだったと思います。国も言葉も関係なく人々とつながれたことはとてもうれしかったです♪
皆さんも、音楽で国際交流を目指してみてはどうでしょうか？

It's true that there are so many languages in the world that are an obstacle to cross-country communication :(

Music always exsists in every country and every ethnic group. That may mean that human beings cannot live without music.
There is no national wall in music!

The other day, a friend of mine in Salzburg, Austria invited me to the Salzburg Music Festival. Unfortunately I had to decline, but I'd like to go again when The situation became better :) (Mozart's birthplace!)

Previously, when I was playing the piano at a hotel in Salzburg, customers gathered and finally a hotel stuff gave me "a room upgrade" and "a free wine voucher" at a restaurant in the hotel. It's an amazing and wonderful memory for me ;)) (I can't drink alcohol, so I ordered an apple juice. Lol)
I played "Princess Mononoke" and "Frozen" at that time. I was very happy to be able to connect with people regardless of country or language.
Why don't you all aim for international exchange(communication) with music? ;)

外国の人々とつきあうとき、必ず日本について聞かれます。
私も、日本のことが分からず、「わかりません」と答えることしかできないこともありました。そんなときは、やはり残念そうな顔をされます。

日本が世界に誇れることはたくさんあります。
外国人とのスキンシップにオススメなのは、「折り紙」「日本料理」「日本の伝統的な小物（扇子など）」を紹介したり、プレゼントすることです♪

海外の小学校で、折り紙を教えてあげるととても喜ばれます！
今は、鶴が折れない日本の子どももたくさんいるので、ぜひ折れるようにしておくとよいと思います♪
また、日本食も人気ですし、日本の包丁や包丁技術は世界からとても高く評価されています。そんなものも紹介してみるのもオススメです！
上の写真は、ドイツで私が友人たちのためにつくった朝食です。リンゴのスワンは私でもできるくらい簡単なのでオススメです♪

「英語が話せない！」という方も、話さなくてもすぐに仲良くなる方法はたくさんあります♪ぜひ試してみてください。

Whenever I communicate with foreigners, I'm always asked about Japan.
Sometimes I could only answer "I don't know." In such a case, I still have a disappointing face :( Shame on me..

There are many things that Japan can be proud of in the world.
I recommend introducing or presenting "origami," "Japanese foods," and "traditional Japanese accessories (fans, etc.)" for getting along with foreigners :)

Teaching origami at an overseas elementary school makes kids super happy!!
Nowadays, there are many Japanese kids who can't make cranes with origami, so I think it's a good idea to learn how to make cranes with origami ;)
Japanese food is also popular, and Japanese kitchen knives and knife technique are highly regarded around the world. It's also recommended to introduce such a thing!
Btw, the picture is the breakfast I made for my friends in Germany. "Swan made of apple" is as easy as I can, so I recommend it ;))

Even if you don't speak English, there are many ways to get along quickly without having to speak ♪ Why don't you give it a try? :)

私は「医用遺伝子工学」「分子生物生体情報科学」が本来の専門なので、今回はミクロな世界の不思議をご紹介します♪

My original major is "medical genetic engineering" and "molecular biology bioinformatics", so this time I will introduce the wonders of the micro world:)


「不老不死」
年をとらずに生き続けることは人類の夢の一つでしょうか？
そんなこと不可能に決まっていると決めつけるのは早いかもしれません。
実は、不老に関しては身近なところにその鍵が存在するのです。

「がん」です。
皮肉なことに、死亡原因トップである「がん」が「不老不死」の鍵なのです。
がん細胞は年を取りません。つまり、分裂を繰り返し続けるのです。
普通は、テロメアという染色体部分が細胞の分裂回数を制限しているため、老化がおこりますが、がん細胞はそれが正しく機能しなくなります。

がんを克服し、テロメアをコントロールできるようになったとき、我々は老化を克服するかもしれませんね。
小宇宙に関しても、まだまだ分からないことがたくさんあります！！
ぜひ、興味をもって色々と調べてみてほしいと思います♪

"Immortality"

Ironically, "cancer", the leading cause of death, is the key to "immortality."
Cancer cells do not grow old. In other words, it keeps dividing.
Normally, telomeres, a part of the chromosome that limits the number of cell divisions, causes aging, but cancer cells don't function properly.

We may overcome aging when we can overcome cancer and control telomeres.
There are still many things we don't understand about the microcosm! !!

宇宙はロマンがありますね！
そんな宇宙の面白い話を２つ紹介しますね。

１．　太陽は減量中！
実は、太陽の質量は、１秒ごとに６０億kgずつ減っているのです！！
とんでもないダイエットですね！！我々は1kg減量するのにどれだけかかるか・・・笑
「このままだと太陽がなくなってしまう！」と心配した方・・・、ご心配なく！
これだけの質量を失いながらも、太陽の質量は１年で１０兆分の１減少するだけなんです。

1. The sun is on a diet!
In fact, the mass of the sun is decreasing by 6 billion kg every second! WOW!
How long does it take us to lose 1kg ... lol
Those who are worried that the sun will disappear at this rate ... Don't worry!
Despite losing this much mass, the mass of the sun is only reduced by a factor of 10 trillion in a year.

２．　銀河系はやがてブラックホールに吸い込まれてしまう！

でも、心配しないでください。全てを飲み込むまでに１００穣年(1000000000000000000000000000000年)かかります♪
