赤＝恋愛，黄色＝お金　などを意味します。真っ赤なふんどしが売れるかもしれませんね。

日本の節分的な意味を持ちます。デンマークとちがうのは自分の家ということです。やりたい場合は，少なくともお家の人の許可をもらってから自己責任でやりましょう。

とても寒いですね。雪もずっと降っています。
子どもは「つもれつもれ」，大人は「やめやめ」と思っている人が多いのではないでしょうか？
It's extremely cold, isn't it? It's been snowing since last night..
I guess kids are like "more snow" and adults are like "stop.." :p

寒い冬に知っておいて損はない？ことを３つ紹介します。

1. 「冷たい」の語源は「爪痛い」
"(Tsumetai)cold" derives from "Tsume itai(Nail hurts)".
「爪が痛いほど寒い」というたとえから「冷たい」という単語ができました。

2. 寝るときにくつ下をはくと，体が冷えてしまう。
"Your body would be cold when you sleep with socks."
汗がくつ下内にたまり，しめってしまい，足の血管を収縮させてしまいます。
湯たんぽや電気毛布などを使いましょう。
Why don't you try to use "Yu-tanpo(Hot water bottle)" or "Electric blanket" etc. ? :)

3. 毛布の上に寝ると温かい。
"Sleeping on a blanket could be warmer than under it."
毛布を体にかけて寝るより，毛布の上に寝る方が保温効果が高いようです。

勉強よりも仕事よりもとても大切なことだと思います。

I think it's more important than work and study.

授業はアナログとデジタルを効率的に利用しています。
デジタルについては、デジタル教科書やクロームブック、iPadなどを使うことが多いですが、特に今色々と試しているのがクロームブックです。
使えるものは限られていますが、使い方の可能性がかなり広いので、私も日々勉強です。
子どもたちが意欲的に学ぶことができ、効果的・効率的な指導ができるように頑張っていきたいと思います。


I use both analog and digital in my lessons.
Regarding digital, I often use digital textbooks, chromebook, iPad, etc., but I'm especially trying various things with chromebooks.

現在の日本は、ネットの書き込みなどを見ていてもそうですが、批判社会というか、批判しかしない人が多いように感じることもあります。中にはいきすぎて「誹謗中傷」といった内容まで平気で書き込んだり、言ってしまったりということもありますね。
大人の姿を見て、子どもは成長することを、我々大人は常に意識して行動していかないといけないなと思います。

言語は時代と共に変化をしています。
日本語も例外ではありません。

面白いことに、今の「ハヒフヘホ」の発音は昔はありませんでした。
奈良時代では発音は「パピプペポ」だったのです！
平安時代では発音は「ファフィフフェフォ」だったのです！

つまり、現代日本語の「母（はは）」は奈良時代では「パパ」と発音するということですね。
ややこしいですね。笑
これはひらがなの成り立ちに関係があります。
「は」は「波」という漢字からできました。古代中国語音では「ぱぁ」なので・・・。

奈良時代にタイムトラベルする際は、ご注意ください♪

Languages has been changing with the times.
Japanese is no exception, of course ;)

Interestingly, the current pronunciation of "Ha Hi Hu He Ho" did not exist in the past!
In the Nara period, the pronunciation was like "Pa Pi Pu Pe Po".
In the Heian period, the pronunciation was like "Fa Fi Fu Fe Fo".

For example, the modern Japanese word "mother(Haha in Japanese)" was pronounced "Daddy(Papa in Japanese)" in the Nara period x)
It's complicated, isn't it? :)
This has something to do with the origin of hiragana.
"は" is made up of the Chinese character "波". Also it's pronounced like "paa" in ancient Chinese sounds.

Please be careful when you do time travel to the Nara period :p

普段会話で使う言葉と、学習に出てくる言葉にはかなり違いがあります。
日本人でも、例えば「けいべつ（軽蔑）する」という意味は分かっても、「べつじょ（蔑如）する」という意味が分からなかったりもします。（同様の意味です）
日本語にはほとんど同じ意味でもまったく違う言葉がたくさんあります。

「長さ」は分かるけど、「距離」が分からない子もいるでしょうし、「道のり」という言葉は算数でしかほとんど使わない気がします。
そういう言葉を一つ一つ個別にていねいに教えてあげることができるのも、日本語教室の魅力の一つではないかなと思います♪

また、「巻き尺」という名前やその道具の使い方などもていねいに教えることができます。
子どもは楽しそうに活動しながら、算数と日本語を両方同時に学んでいました♪


There is a considerable difference between the words we usually use in conversation and the words you study in learning.
Even Japanese people, for example, may understand the meaning of "Keibetsu-suru" but not the meaning of "Betsujo-suru". (Almost same meaning)
There are many words in Japanese that have almost the same meaning but are completely different.

Some students may know the word "Nagasa" but not "Kyori", and I feel that the word "Michinori" is rarely used.(Only in math, arithmetic)
I think that being able to teach such words individually and carefully is one of the attractions of the Japanese language class.

I can also carefully teach the name "tape measure" and how to use the tool.
the student was learning both math and Japanese at the same time while having fun :)

幸い、本校の日本語教室（国際教室）はとても大きな教室なので、十分な距離をとることができます。（１学期よりもさらに距離をあけました）
常時換気をし、事前事後の消毒も入室者全員に行うなど、十分に気をつけて運営していきます。

ワクチン接種が２回済んだという方もいらっしゃると思いますが、ここでもう一度原点に戻って、「手洗い」の大切さに注目してほしいと思います。
手指消毒も大切ですが、「正しくていねいな手洗い」をこまめに行うことがやはり重要です。
色々な意味で、今一度初心にかえってみるとよいのかなと思います♪
２学期、元気な子どもたちに会えることをとても楽しみにしています♪

私も警察時代は救急法は当然必修でしたし、病院時代は大きな病院だったので、大規模なトリアージ訓練もさせられましたていただきました。
実地訓練を受けると、いつまでも忘れません！
上級救命の知識・技能は今でも役に立っています♪
「防災」や「救急法」などは自学のテーマにもオススメですし、家族で話し合ってみることもオススメです！

世界には数多くの言語（7139言語 by Ethnologue)がありますが、中には不思議で面白い言語も存在します♪

「ソルレソル」（ソレソです）という言語は文字の代わりに「ド・レ・ミ・ファ・ソ・ラ・シ」の音の高さを組み合わせて単語や文字列を構成しています。つくった人はフランスの作曲家です。
絶対音感がないと理解できないということになりますね。笑
あっても理解ができませんが・・・。難しい！！

You can learn a lot about the countries of the world and the schools of the world.
I think it's also good for self-study material :p

The better you know about foreign countries, the better you will know about your own country. That's the theory :)
It's not only about culture etc., but also various systems like education system, corona prevention system etc.
Japan might be behind the world( other developed countries) somehow. We may have to abandon stereotypes(I can rather say "common sense") and learn new things from abroad. Like the era when the country was opened from isolation.
It's just like what Einstein said.
"Common sense is the collection of prejudices acquired by age 18."

世界にはとてもたくさんの言語があり、それが国を超えたコミュニケーションの障害になっていることは事実です。
そんなときは、「音楽」が助けてくれるかもしれません♪
どの国にも、どんな民族にも必ず音楽が存在します。それはつまり、人類という生き物は音楽なしでは生きていけないということを意味するのかもしれません。

先日、オーストリアのザルツブルクの友人からザルツブルク音楽祭の招待がきました。残念ながら断らなければいけませんでしたが、コロナが落ち着いたらまた行きたいものです♪（モーツァルトの出身地です！）

以前、ザルツブルクのホテルのピアノを弾いていたら、お客さんが集まりだし、最終的にホテルの方が部屋のアップグレードとレストランでのワイン無料券をくれました。衝撃的な思い出です♪（お酒は飲めないのでアップルジュースに変えてもらいました。笑）
そのとき弾いたのは「もののけ姫」や「アナ雪」などだったと思います。国も言葉も関係なく人々とつながれたことはとてもうれしかったです♪
皆さんも、音楽で国際交流を目指してみてはどうでしょうか？

It's true that there are so many languages in the world that are an obstacle to cross-country communication :(
In such a case, "music" may help!!
Music always exsists in every country and every ethnic group. That may mean that human beings cannot live without music.
There is no national wall in music!

The other day, a friend of mine in Salzburg, Austria invited me to the Salzburg Music Festival. Unfortunately I had to decline, but I'd like to go again when The situation became better :) (Mozart's birthplace!)

Previously, when I was playing the piano at a hotel in Salzburg, customers gathered and finally a hotel stuff gave me "a room upgrade" and "a free wine voucher" at a restaurant in the hotel. It's an amazing and wonderful memory for me ;)) (I can't drink alcohol, so I ordered an apple juice. Lol)
I played "Princess Mononoke" and "Frozen" at that time. I was very happy to be able to connect with people regardless of country or language.
Why don't you all aim for international exchange(communication) with music? ;)
